About Us at Dragonfly:

Nan Wynne and her brother Jay own and operate Dragonfly Designs in Winterville NC. Jay came on board December 2006 and has been an awesome addition to the bead store business. When Dragonfly Designs opened in February 2005 it was a small jewelry shop with a few beads to offer. Quickly word got out that Dragonfly sold beads and so the beads became the focus of the store.

In the spring of 2007 Jay and Nan had an opportunity to take over the entire building and remodel it. Nan and Jay jumped at the opportunity to do this because they needed more space. In doing this renovation they have increased their store space by double and are able to offer a much larger variety of beads and findings and more classroom areas.

In the Spring of 2008, Jay and Nan decided that the business name needed to evolve some and after much work they decided on a new name and logo. Now the business name is Dragonfly Bead Company. They are still offering the same great service and are still located in the same great place!

Now after serving you for more than 5 years they are also excited to be offering even MORE class choices. Offering wire wrapping with Sue, more wire wrapping and silversmithing with Faye, Seed bead classes with Margie and Nancy, Learning to make jewelry with Linda and Nan continues to teach an array of classes too.
